Calcium Plus Powder supplement for birds is a concentrated, fine powder, highly bio-available form of calcium, vitamin D3, and magnesium formulated for maximum intestinal absorption.
Ideal for breeding and growing birds. Promotes healthy egg production and has proven to be very effective as an emergency product for egg-bound hens. Calcium is involved with brain and nerve function and can improve behavioral problems such as feather plucking and chewing.
Add to soft foods or fruits/veg. Perfect for birds consuming a moist diet. Ideal for all year round use and for use during the breeding season. Helps with egg laying and prevents calcium deficiency.
Sprinkle onto fresh food, human foods or moistened soft foods (Miracle Meal) or add to hand rearing foods. Use once or twice a week for non-breeding birds and up to 5 days a week for breeders. For small collections give 1 pinch for a pair of finches/canaries, 2 pinches per pair budgies, 4 pinches per pair cockatiels/rosellas, 4 pinches for one amazon/grey, 8 pinches per macaw. Alternatively add 2oz to 6lbs to seed. Remember not to feed more than 5 days a week.
